India played Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 5 in a low-scoring game and defeated the Paul Stirling's men by eight wickets.

The cricket fans and experts are not satisfied with the quality of cricket being played in New York due to horrible pitch conditions.

Renowned commentator and cricket expert, Harsha Bhogle took to his X (formerly Twitter) and wrote that it is impossible for him to imaging India's game against Pakistan at the same surface.

“Have to do something about the pitches. Can’t imagine India vs Pakistan on this one.”

India and Pakistan will meet in another high-voltage clash on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The game is the most anticipated match of the tournament and fans believe if the match is conducted on these pitches then it will be a boring match.

Many fans have replied under the Tweet stating that the pitches can be excused as they were brought in from Adelaide, Australia and prepared in Florida for six months but what about the outfield?

Ireland had only posted a target of 97 as the team had bundled out in the 16 over of their innings. In reply, India easily chased down the target in the 12.2 over at a loss of two wickets.

When India played Bangladesh at the same venue for a warm-up game, Rahul Dravid, India’s head coach had suspected players to get hurt and injured due to the sloppy outfield and sandy ground.

"The ground is a little bit soft. So I think the guys will feel that a little bit tomorrow on the hamstring and calves, so it is an area we have to ensure we are working around and ensure that the guys are looking after themselves because it does feel a little bit heavy underneath," he said.

Cricket fans are calling out the International Cricket Council (ICC) for not testing out the grounds ahead of the T20 World Cup as the ball is less likely to reach the boundary, again due to the outfield being sloppy, and for putting the players in danger.
